Joanne

Joanne, born on September 27, is the third of seven (7) children, has two (2) brothers and four (4) sisters.    She came from a family where music ran second to academics. Her parents and siblings are all involved in music in one form or the other;  her mother began playing the piano at the age of 4 and her grand-father was also an accomplished pianist.   Her brothers play the bass guitar and pan;   her sisters all sing.   At times they perform as a family.   As a child, Joanne will stand before the mirror and sing her heart out, most times composing as she sang, since getting the words correctly was a challenge.  She sang in school choirs while in elementary school and even entered Music festivals in the solo and duet categories.  Joanne totally enjoys singing and never turns down the opportunity to sing at church when given the opportunity so to do.   Singing is her way of communicating with God and ministering to her soul when  she feels pressured, depressed or just needs to say something special to God in thanksgiving since He plays a major role in her life.  Joanne is presently reading for her International MBA and, as long as she has the opportunity to bless the heart of anyone willing to listen, will sing a song of joy.
